After winning the coveted Future Music Power Award with 'Cinematic Series Vol 2: Hacked Society', composer Lhasa Mencur turned his attentions to crafting a sample collection inspired by the work of Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein on the "Stranger Things" OST.
The result is 'Cinematic Series Vol 3: Alien Encounters', a nostalgic journey into the 80s synthwave sound, delivered using cutting-edge, modern day sound design and synthesis techniques.
In detail you'll find six mini Construction Kits featuring full mixes and individual stems, covering a range of lush instrumentation such as plucks, pads, arpeggios, synth FX and bass.
In addition, you'll also find a selection of Sci-Fi influenced vocal samples, perfect for invoking dread and terror before an un-Earthly drop.
The SFX folder includes a selection of alien vocalisations and organic sounds, which could be useful for foley or for creating interesting soundbeds and underscores.
